Farmington, New Hampshire, August 14, 2008

SchäferRolls of Renningen, Germany announces that they have finalized their acquisition of Samco Inc. with the formation of SchaeferRolls Inc.  The new company will quickly upgrade and expand the existing Samco manufacturing and service facility in Farmington, NH and incorporate all of the existing Samco employees, product lines and technology.

Major capital improvements at Farmington will include the addition of a new dual chamber cure oven, a CNC controlled roll grinder, a state-of-the-art composite cover application station, a new Vac-U-Blast station as well as extensive upgrades to the polyurethane and rubber production lines.  These major upgrades will be completed in the 3^rd and 4^th quarters of the year and become an integral part of the offering of technically advanced rubber, polyurethane and composite roll covers to the paper industry as well as the film, textile, printing, furniture and packaging industries.

Bradley Moores and Jeanine Lewis, the former stockholders of Samco Inc. will serve as President and Vice President, respectively for SchaeferRolls Inc.  JT Fisher has been appointed Director, Sales and Marketing and Janko Lukezic has been appointed Technical Director for the new company.  Additional Sales/Service Engineers will be added to support the new expanded product and service offerings of SchaeferRolls Inc. as they enter the market.

SchäferRolls was established in 1946 as an independent, privately owned, dedicated supplier of proprietary roll covers and roll services to a wide range of industrial applications.  With the acquisition of Samco, SchäferRolls now has three different manufacturing and service locations comprising a total of 270 thousand square feet, utilizing 9 precision roll grinders, employing a total of 250 employees with the ability to cover and service rolls up to 600 inches in length, 80 inches in diameter and weighing up to 90 tons.
