Our Technicians at Samco have a combined experience of over 75 years grinding rolls for the Pulp and Paper Industry.

Pro-Mic electronic callipering system gives us the ability to provide you with “as received” and “as ground” profiles of all rolls.

Gem Super finisher allows us to finish your rolls to a 2 RA or better if necessary.

Samco’s Standard tolerances for Chilled Iron Calender rolls are:

• Shape: .0004
• Taper .0004
• TIR: .0005
• Sta/Sta .00025
• Finish 6-8 RA

We can accommodate special customer tolerances.
