Spool segments for metal-clad rolls are supplied in CNC-machined carbon steel. Chrome plating and Tungsten Carbide coatings are available to address corrosion, wear and traction The segments can also he circumferentially, grooved to reduce sheet floatation in high speed applications. The individual segment ends are sealed to prevent the entry of dirt, dust and other foreign material |
